DIY Rose Flowers from Waste Egg Tray

Very beautiful rose flower DIY from waste egg tray. This is an amazing best out of waste or recycled materials craft idea made from empty egg carton or egg tray. Made with very simple craft supplies these rose flowers look absolutely gorgeous. You can make these into a rose flower bouquet to give as a gift on Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day or use it as a DIY home décor piece to decorate your home or office space. No matter how you use these flowers, they are sure to brighten up someone’s day.

So, let’s get started.

Materials Required:

Egg Tray Craft Rose Flowers Materials

  • Waste Egg Tray
  • Scissors
  • Paint & Brush
  • Craft Wire
  • Green Tape
  • Glue
  • Glitter

Instructions:

  1. Cut out 4 pieces from egg tray as shown in steps 1-2.
  2. Cut them into two 4 petals flowers, one 5 petals and one 6 petals flower.
  3. Paint all the flowers in colour of your choice.
  4. Make small holes in the centre of each flower to insert the wire.
  5. First insert the 6 petals flower and twist the wire into a small loop to secure it in place.
  6. Apply glue on the petals and fold them to make a rose bud.
  7. Follow the same step with the 5 petals flower and 4 petals flowers.
  8. Make sure to apply glue in between layers to secure the flower.
  9. Slightly tug the edges of the petals to give it a rose flower shape.
  10. Using the green tape, wrap the stem of the rose flower.
  11. Now apply glue on the flower using a paintbrush.
  12. Sprinkle the glitter on the flower and then tap to get rid of the excess glitter.
  13. Beautiful rose flowers are ready from our egg tray craft.
