3 Easy Paper Decoration Ideas

3 easy and beautiful DIY paper decoration craft ideas for festive home decor during Diwali, Christmas and parties etc. You can easily make these at home with minimal requirements of A4 craft papers and some simple stationary items. To make these DIY paper decoration crafts, follow these few easy steps given below.

Materials required:

1. Color A4 craft paper
2. Scissors / Paper Cuter
3. Thread
4. Stapler
5. Glue

Paper Fan Garland

• Taking an A4 craft sheet, cut it into 2 halves along its length as shown.
• Now fold the paper into zig zag pattern and staple it at one end to make a paper fan.
• Do the same with various color papers to get number of colorful paper fans.
• Now with help of glue, stick the paper fans in an alternate top & bottom pattern as shown in the picture.
• Once done, you will get a beautiful paper fan garland for decoration.

Paper Wall Hanging

• Now for the DIY wall hanging paper decoration idea, we are going to use small squared shape paper cutouts in 3 different colors.
• Next stick the paper cutouts on top of one another to get a layered pattern.
• Make a few more of these diamond shaped units and stick them on a string of thread.
• With this our easy and beautiful paper wall hanging décor is done.

Paper Streamers

• The third paper craft is a link chain type paper streamer for which we will use paper strips in different colors.
• With these color strips we will create chain patterned decorative as shown in the picture.
• Make a loop using a paper strip and then insert another paper strip into it and make another loop.
• Repeat the same step to make a chain using more paper strips to get the desired length of the streamers.
